Anointed Women of God ~ Striving for Excellence in Jesus

Description of a Worthy Woman – Proverbs 31:10-12 (AMP)

10
An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls.

11
The heart of her husband trusts in her [with secure confidence], And he will have no lack of gain.

12
She comforts, encourages, and does him only good and not evil All the days of her life.

You Can Have Peace

March 2019

Dear Friend,

In the world of massive, turbulent situations that our nation is in, isn’t it wonderful that we can dwell in the peace that passes all understanding? Proverbs 16:7 says: When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Strife is a killer of peace, and it’s an open door for the devil.

Colossians 3:15 says: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Now here is one of the keys for peace in Second Peter 1:2: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. The more we know about God, the deeper our relationship is with our Lord, and the greater our peace should be.

The devil thrives on fear and strife, and he will do his best to divide and conquer. Some people have such a lack of peace that they can’t sleep at night for fear something’s going to happen to them if they do. However, Psalm 4:8 says: I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

It is a sad thing for the world to watch Christians fighting amongst themselves. We need to be praying for the restoration of the lost, the hurting, and all those in authority.

I’ve told people on more than one occasion to keep their own closet clean and to pray that we can keep it that way. I don’t know why some people want to be about everyone else’s business. We should be praying for their recovery, not judging or condemning.

The blockage was so thick my prayer and my praise was hindered. The harder I tried to see and hear, the further into darkness I slipped. In my frustration and by faith I placed a blindfold over my eyes, that’s when I could see.

Blindfold, to hinder from seeing; something that obscures mental or physical vision.

Has the enemy blocked your vision? Has success or failure caused you to be blind to everything around you? Has your spiritual sight been limited because you depend so heavenly on your physical sight?

It’s not until you are willing to be blind you gain the ability to see through the eyes of God! My struggle was using what worked before to see and hear God. It wasn’t until I was willing to place a physical and mental blindfold over myself that God was able to show me what He wanted me to see.

The enemy and the world can blind you with a dazzle or daze, but you must be willing to blindfold yourself so the glory of God is manifested! You must walk by faith and not by sight. If you want to see God, stop seeing through your eyes! Get a blindfold!

Percival

By Daryl Hall

The light of life in him is manifested in my view of him,
The day began as creation awoke from its slumber,
As I looked over the calm of the waters
His face was before me,
The silver darting of the school of fish
As they assembled as directed,
The jellyfish plume as it expanded
Like the opening of a blooming flower,
The mountains in the distance
Their caps covered by the whiteness of snow,
The beautiful singing of the birds
As they praised him at the break of day,
The blades of grass lifting up their arms toward him,
The beautiful trees covered by blossoms
Reflecting the beauty of his hand,
I saw a friend whose hair and beard
Were white as snow
Moving smartly across the distance,
The pack hung loosely upon his back
And his hat was placed at the chosen angle,
As he sat to rest under the gigantic tree
And turned toward me,
The sparkle in his eyes
And the radiance of his smile
Shown brightly the joy that was within him,
His appreciation for life and its blessings
Carried him through each day,
As I departed the serenity of the setting
Joy welled up on the inside of me
Because of the Spirit within me
And his gentle touch,
We will walk hand in hand this day
And he will guide the way.

The Father

By Daryl Hall

The gentle touch of my Father caresses my soul
And engulfs me in a joy indescribable,
He covers my heart in such a loving and wonderful way
His fingerprints they do confound me
As they continue to form life seen and unseen,
The Fathers hand created the petal of a flower
A humming birds’ wing,
The rainbow on the back of a salmon in the early spring,
The bud of the rose and the beauty of the blossom,
The eyes of a child so beautifully engraved by his hands,
As he moulds and forms what the eye can see
The spirit soars like a giant tree in the clouds of his glory,
Engulfed and changed by his presence from within
I acknowledge that there is no other like my God,
Praise must ring throughout this temple
Exalting and lifting him up on high,
Touching the heart of God,
He loves our praise and worship
And the time taken to fellowship with him
Like a child and a father,
He loves us so much
And if we desire he will fill us with his love each and everyday.

The descriptions in the first poem actually existed on the day that I wrote it.  I would like to share it because of the man that I described with the white hair and beard.  This man loved life and I believe he knew the Lord.  I witnessed to him one day concerning prayer and the healing powers of Christ.  I was saddened because he refused to go to our loving Father for what he perceived to be little things such as healing for our bodies.  He just did not realize that God knows everything about us and He desires to satisfy all of our needs.  No request is too small or too large for Him.  I could not get him to understand how deep the love of the Father is for each and everyone of us.  That love is so deep that He sacrificed his only son, Jesus for us all. ~Daryl
