A Mother’s Love – The Fruit of Her Labor

When I think of my friend Marilyn, my mind goes directly to Proverbs 31, verses 10 through 31.

Marilyn lives in Ashburn, Virginia with her husband Dean Braxton.  Marilyn leads a very active and busy life.  She enjoys blessing her son, daughter and their families in a great number of ways.

Among her various talents, she is an excellent home chef.  This is one of the many ways that she showers her daughter, Tiffany with her love. For example, she lets her love shine bright by frequently preparing food to relieve the stress on her daughter’s family, as Tiffany is beginning the process of her excellent home schooling of her two young children.

Marilyn often sends me short video clips of the meals that she has prepared.  She has amazed me with the many things she creates, even making her own almond milk.  I always enjoy getting her video clips to see what great things she is doing. It inspires me to press on in my life.

Marilyn is a blessed woman of God and she continues daily to delve deeper in to the love and presence of Jesus. You may or may not be a mother, but regardless, how do you think of yourself?  Take time to read Proverbs 31, verses 10 through 31 and meditate on these scriptures.  If you have a personal testimony of the Fruit of Your Labor, please share it with us.

I have enjoyed viewing A Mother’s Love over and over, and I hope you enjoy it and receive your own personal benefit from it as well.  You may even be encouraged to roast some delicious vegetables.

Until the next time – Roselyn Knox
